The Ron Jackson Show

 Ron Jackson is a published author, Sunday columnist for the Kankakee Daily Journal, youth advocate, jury commissioner, and now radio show host. Contrary to popular assumption, he is a mere conduit of objective controversy, not the creator of it, and a proponent of free speech and self defense. When not working with youth or writing, he spends his time in search of the perfect venue for live music where he is the roadie for his wife's band. He's also a big fan of the 'Die-Hard' movie series.

He has a bachelor's degree in business and is working on his Ph.D. in BS.

2 lbs ripe tomatoes (peeled & seeded)

1 cucumber (seeded)

1 onion (skinned & coarsely chopped)

2 cups tomato juice

1 bell pepper (seeded & coarsely chopped)

1 Jalapeño (seeded0

3 cloves garlic (peeled)

½ cup extra virgin olive oil

2 tbls wine vinegar

1 tsp lemon zest

1 tbls lemon Juice

2 tbls fresh chopped basil

¼ cup bread crumbs

S & P to taste


In food processor or blender,

Liquefy onion and garlic,

Add cucumber, then tomatoes and peppers

When liquefied add bread crumbs.

Blend again.

Pour in large bowl,

Stir in everything else, salt & pepper to taste.

Let rest 2 hours. Stir again,
